Event Coordination

During your initial contact with our office, several factors detailed in our Major Event Policy (PDF) are considered to determine if an event is considered a "Major Event." Once an event has been defined as a "Major Event," a conference and event coordinator is assigned. You may also request an event coordinator if you would like additional assistance with your event.

Our event coordinators work closely with clients to ensure the success of an event by:

• Working effectively with clients to provide logistical support, such as:
   
• customized room configurations
• specialized equipment
• audiovisual needs
• facilitating special requests
• shipping and receiving packages
• on-campus overnight accommodations
   
• Offering a centralized resource to assist with all event needs and serving as a liaison with various departments on campus, such as:
   
  • Parking and Shuttle Services
  • Police Services
  • UNLV Catering
  • UNLV Facilities Management
     
• Assisting clients during day of event, as well as afterward, to ensure proper closure is addressed, which includes all billing details, as well as beginning the arrangements for a future function.

Outdoor Event Management
We'll arrange electrical power, sprinkler system modifications, and additional disposal receptacles so that your outdoor event goes off without a hitch.
